Our logs, decks, paneling, & counter  were sealed & finished with

Earth Plaster was used for most of our walls.  It is sustainable, with no VOC, & has the lowest carbon footprint of any interior finish product.  It has the look of plaster/adobe, comes in a variety of colors, & is gorgeous. americanclay.com

We chose the
dual flush Toto toilet for its low water volume and efficiency.  We are extremely pleased and have no complaints.  totousa.com

Angeles Millwork supplied
factory stained Hardi Plank for our siding in a combination of shingles and lap board.  It looks amazingly like wood and will be virtually maintenance free.  They also supplied used Medite II for the wall paneling in our basement.  It’s nice to look at, formaldehyde free and made from 100% recycled wood fiber.  Medite products are manufactured by Sierra Pine to meet or exceed the most  stringent global emission standards.  angelesmillwork.com

Question:  Gutters for Metal Roofs

Many homes with metal roofs lost their gutters as a result of the 2008  snowstorm.  Conventional gutter installation, clearly, is not adequate to withstand heavy snow loads.  Failed gutters can create moisture problems in the building envelope or foundation.
